Women's Meeting 18-August-2020

Yesterday we had our joint women's meeting, it was a precious time where we could feel the presence of God and as he spoke to our lives, 69 united women of which 10 were connected by Zoom were challenged in our relationships. We learned that God created us to have a relationship with him and with other people but that we are responsible for who we choose, how we show ourselves to others, and how we relate.

Through the verse Ecclesiastes 4:12 "Three-fold cord does not break soon" God teaches us that if in every relationship we have we put Jesus at the center it will be a healthy friendship and it will not be easily broken. God challenged us through examples of relationships in the Bible to have healthy friendships, trusting in Christ, to have mutual respect, friends that help us to go further, that encourage us in times of difficulty, to show ourselves as we are without putting on masks to the What they will say, to treat others as we would like them to treat us.

God reminded us in Matthew 5:44 that we should even pray for our enemies, so we conclude that "being a friend is a decision of the will." And you, do you have any friends to help you go further? That she encourage you when you need it and she can tell you the truth without offending you?

Our greatest example of friendship is in Jesus who died on the cross for each of us and he is the one who knows us best. Who lifts us up and helps us when we need and seek Him, Jesus is our example of a perfect relationship!
